Classic Movie Flashback! Thanks to a tip from my lovely lady, we discovered that a local theater (Diamond Center's Regal Cinemas to be exact) is showing a series of classic movies from back in the day! The official list from the manager is as follows:

I know most of the people on my "friends" list aren't in Alaska, but hey, thought I would share anyways.
We went to see Raiders last night and it kicked ass! So if you are in the area, go every Wednesday and support Diamond so they keep doing this! :D

Because Rhiannon -MADE- me do it... RULES: Each player of this game starts off with 12 weird things/habits about yourself. 1. I am mildly obsessed with numerals of 5, especially in reference to stereo or television volume. So bad, in fact, my friends have often changed volumes on my appliances when I am out of the room to mess with me.
2. I am a huge fan of having things in proper places and in certain orders, yet I am completely content sometimes to leave things in dissaray, so long as the disarray remains in its certain order. My friends have also enjoyed exploiting this.
3. My right eye is two completely different colors (hazel/green and brown). I know some of you know this, but others don't... and it's weird, so hush damnit!
4. I really like elbow skin and pierced earlobes... don't ask...
5. I am obsessed with claw machine games...
6. I am obsessed with Guitar Hero...
7. I am an Eagle Scout and I like to start fires... I'm not sure if those two are related, or if the later is at all healthy, but hey...
8. I REALLY enjoy doing surgery that involves removing/cutting into the uterus. God I'm a sicko... XD
9. I loathe reading, yet love writing.
10. I'm told that being in my early 20's and being a good cook/enjoying cooking (as well as owning a bunch of cooking supplies) is weird...
11. I say "chunks!" when I burp out loud...
12. I am told I have eerilly soft hands for a man... especially one that has to surgically scrub them multiple times a day.

Onward my precious child... Well, I got the scrub tech job that I interviewed for... So that means I am heading back up to Alaska! :D Huzzah and stuff!
This also means that I will actually be progressing with my life, as opposed to being stuck in a stall like I have been for the past 6 months (though I don't regret it one bit). I swear... I must be one of the the worlds laziest overachievers... or one of the world's most motivated slackers... your pick I suppose!
More news about Guitar Hero... I actually lost about 4 nights of sleep over it (and not from playing it, mind you), lying awake in bed with the songs stuck in my head... Every time I hear a song with a good guitar hook in it, I find myself with an insatiable desire to play Guitar Hero air guitar (which is definitely creepier than regular air guitar)... Friggen damnit, RedOctane!!! GIVE ME THE SEQUEL NOW!!! *eXtreme mouth froth s0lo*
Annnnywho... yeah... so yay!
P.S. I watched a Greatest Southern Rock Songs show today, so now I'm super hooked on SoRock... damn damn damn! XD

Anywho, I love this friggen game... I got it last night and can barely put it down... I want nothing more than to stand up and trash about on the guitar... but my bum ankle is still just a little tight, and it doesn't like me rocking out like a badass apparently (no rockstar kicks for me ;_;' )... oh well... soon enough my pretty... I will just have to sit and play for now...
Oh yeah... my ankle is doing a bit better... swelling is finally going down a week later...
And in other important news, I have a phone interview for a surgical tech job up in AK on Tuesday... if I get the job, I am moving back to AK soon!!! YUSSSSSSSSsssssss... wish me luck... though I don't need it... because I am such a hardcore mofo and such...

Now I sit here with one ankle swollen to twice the size of the other and a heat pack dulling the pain. I think the capsule on the outer side of my ankle popped, so it's nothing too bad. I just need to wait until the swelling goes down (I figure it will be fine when that happens).
On the brighter side, I am going to the nifty asian market down the road tomorrow to pick up sushi crafting supplies (I finally got my sushi book/kit!!). I am going to attempt some super basic rolls and see how it goes. Yay! :D

Gluttony abound! Well my sleep schedule is still out of whack, despite trying to drink it back into order. The night before last I also stayed up all night and then on till 10 AM to try and psych my body out. It didn't really work... It just went back to it's stupid routine of keeping me up all night and making me sleep all day (kinda like a bizzaro, backward, vampire lumberjack or something) Oh well...
Today was event-full though... I cut the grass, super detailed my pa's car, watered the lawn, and watered the dog (literally). To reward my self for such "hard" work, I treated myself to my favorite Japanese restaurant around here. By "treated", I mean "gorged", and by "gorged" I mean "piged-the-fuck-out". To put it into perspective, I ate about 4 hours ago and am still stuffed. Not normal stuffed mind you...
Let me further explain... right now I want nothing more than to drink a huge cup of water to quench the overwhelming thirst I have had nagging me for the past couple of hours. I want to drink water, I have full access to said water, but every time I drink a glass of water, all the evil within me expands and brings me to the edge of vomitous *glares angrily at the huge pitcher of water right next to him*... This is horrible... ah... oh well. I'd do it again! XD

Who needs sleep?!... Uhhh... I do! *wave* Well... for the past few days I have found it increasingly difficult to sleep... I suppose being a jobless sloth is finally catching up with me (man... who woulda guessed?!)... I am currently trying to drink myself into a stupor, and I think I am just about there! Yay me!!! :D
Anywho... just thought I would share... I am just sick of rolling around in my bed for hours at a time, then sleeping past noon... ;p

Perfect Hair... FOREVER!!! I was so psyched today... my torrent download of all the "Perfect Hair Forever" episodes finally finished and I got to watch the waaaay too short series in it's entirety (only 6 episodes ;_;)... I love this cartoon... it is basically a parody of some of the more goofy/stereotypical aspects of anime... It's goofy and random and delicious and I loves it! Ba-na-nana-na!!! XD
